Capitol Canine Services will train you and your
personal protection dog to meet your specific needs. If you have a
capable dog, we can train it. If you don't already own a dog capable of
this work, we will find you a dog that is suitable. Since owning a dog
that is trained to bite is a serious liability, we will only train
personal protection dogs for responsible owners with a real need for
protection. Not only do we train the dog to do the work, but we train the
owner to handle the dog responsibly.

Protection Sport Training
Capitol Canine Services will train you and your
dog to compete in protection sports. You name it: French Ring, PSA,
Schutzhund, etc. We can work with you and your dog, helping you to
compete at your peak potential.

Image Dog
Capitol Canine Services provides image dog training. This type of training is for those who want a dog that appears to be protection trained, without the risk of owning an attack dog. In the image dog class, we teach the dogs to bark on command, be alert to suspicious or threatening individuals, and to differentiate friend from foe. The dogs are not trained to bite, but they are trained to put up a convincingly protective front. We also train the handlers to safely and responsibly handle such dogs.
